Missi - the Enbie grew up as a queer sect child with 90s R'n'B and
radio Friday evening house-music in a small village near the forest,
later the empty houses in the east German artist village Leipzig soon
became a comfortable home.
10-year-old
Missi first engaged with funk on the electric bass, then
started playing drums, collected house records and produced
dark-mathematical techno, only to continue the journey with the more
traditional rhythms. Missi's current influences are somewhere between
hormone swings, queer rap and a non-binary lifestyle.
